Dear colleague,

we are pleased to announce the “1st Annual Florence Meeting on Myeloproliferative Neoplasms & the Annual IWG-MRT Workshop”, which will be held at Palazzo Vecchio, Florence, Italy, on Saturday, April 16th 2011. This educational and research symposium is held in conjunction with the Annual International Working Group for MPN Research and Treatment (IWG-MRT), which will be held on Sunday, April 17th 2011.

The invitation to attend the Saturday meeting is open to all who are interested in getting updated on recent advances in laboratory and clinical research in MPN. The Sunday meeting is restricted to IWG-MRT members and will focus on new collaborative projects.

Both meetings are completely free of drug company support. It is the wish of our grateful patients with MPN to facilitate information exchange and collaboration on matters that are relevant to their diseases.

Because of limited space, we are able to accept approximately 120 attendees only, which will be selected on first come basis. Additional information on meeting content including topics and speakers will be forthcoming.
